63% of the Nigerian population live within extreme poverty line. Children are stunted and wasted and report shows that 12.7% of Nigerians are undernourished.
The country is currently experiencing a surge in the prices of food and staple commodities, coupled with 750,000 hectares of destroyed farmland in 2022, putting as many as 25 million people at a high risk of hunger in 2023.
