Top Exporters Of Intermediate Goods In Africa And Their Major Partners And Products In 2022
Africa's intermediate goods trade has increased over the years, though still trailed behind other continents in terms of exports.
Some of the trade increase includes the exports of urea and ammonium from Africa to the fertiliser industry in Brazil. They have also been a great increase in intermediate goods exports to Asia, such as gold, rhodium, diamonds and iron ores/copper by 98%.
As of 2022, South Africa exported the highest intermediate goods to the United States of America, China and India summing up to $108.7 billion, followed by the Democratic Republic of Congo with an export worth $22.4 billion.
Also, China, India, Spain & Saudi Arabia have been some of the major patronizers of intermediate goods from the continent.
